We live quite an unconventional life. Next to living on one of the most beautiful and quiet island in the Caribbean and working on our boat, we . Moving around a lot is challenging, starting a Yoga business is also very time consuming, all the changes we have gone through, it wasn’t easy, but we support each other, and I think without the steadiness of our relationship it would have been a different year. We are very different, but also share our views on some basic points. Peter may describe it differently, but I try to summarize our way of thinking that is similar: I think we are both very grounded in reality, being aware of the shortness of life, the relativity of our lives or things we find difficult compared to the world that surrounds us where we have a lot of freedom and a lot of possibilities, the importance of having a calm and clear mind instead of needing external things to feel happy, taking time to do things good instead of fast, being true and kind to yourself before you can take care of others. Our differences are very obvious. Where I need a planning and I need to write things down, Peter doesn’t have an agenda and is always on time for any appointment, I am always late or I forget appointments if I don’t write them down.
