He loves fishing, sailing (best combined), BBQ, swimming and unicorns.

Sanne (36 years, from Tilburg, Netherlands) lives on Bonaire since 2020 and started out as a pharmacist in the hospital on Bonaire. Since December 2022 she is fulltime working on the boat. Next to sailing, she loves painting, yoga, snorkeling and reading. In July 2023 she finished a 200hr teacher-training and enjoys teaching Ashtanga Yoga classes.
LIV a.k.a. Natasha 40
LIV is the name of our boat! And we are currently giving it a complete renovation. She was created in Germany in 1968, in the second-largest German city on the Baltic coast, Lübeck. The reason I call her ‘she’ is because the creators called this limited edition boat ‘Natasha 40’. A very beautiful 40 feet (12.2 meter) steel boat, with one mast.
Past lives of LIV
LIV has been around the world a couple of times. In the 90ties LIV had her first renovation and the couple that got her, made several world trips. We don´t know much about them unfortunately. Peter does know the owners after the couple through a sailing club in Nurnberg where he was rowing at the time (before 2012). Three guys took her across the Atlantic Ocean an trough the Caribbean Sea and South-America. To see more of LIV and their travels -> https://www.seasicksailing.com/ They sold the boat to a friend of Peter, and since the work was a bit more than expected, Peter bought the boat from her.
Basic information
Natasha has a round bilge and a complete teak deck (which we are now renovating). The clearance height is 16.5 meter and the draft is 1.8 meter. The headroom is 2.5 meter. The control is outside with a steering wheel, although this is now also taken from the boat. Just as the compass, almost everything from the teak interior, the old Mercedes Benz motor, the toilet, the bed… etcetera…
